Our Club

What we do:

Science Olympiad at Cornell is a student-run organization that runs invitational tournaments for middle and high school teams from all over the country, handling everything from writing tests to managing event logistics. As a club, we’re all about creating a great experience for our competitors, while also building a strong community within our own team and having lots of fun! Outside of tournaments, we also get involved in other STEM outreach efforts and look for ways to make a positive impact in the community.

Who can join:

We welcome all Cornellians to Science Olympiad at Cornell! Our club is open to all majors, and whether or not you have prior Science Olympiad experience. As long as you’re interested, there’s definitely a place for you!

You can get involved either as an Event Supervisor or as a Volunteer. Event Supervisors are members of the club who work with their Co-Event Supervisors to put together 1 of the 23 events we host at our tournaments. Volunteers are those who sign up to help out on the day of our tournaments.

Why YOU should join:

If you're looking for a community where you can share your love of STEM, gain hands-on experience in event planning, or make a real impact, Science Olympiad at Cornell is the place for you! As a member, you'll get the chance to write and run your own science events, help organize one of the largest student-led STEM tournaments in the country, and connect with other passionate students. Whether you're into biology, engineering, coding, or just want to be part of a fun, driven team, there's definitely a role for you here. Plus, you'll build lasting friendships, develop leadership skills, and have a great time doing it all :)
